Zizzi Italian

Student Eats Glasgow - Zizzi  Zizzi is an Italian restaurant chain based all over the UK supplying a large menu with a modern twist from the traditional styles of many other Italian restaurants.  The Atmosphere - 5/5 This restaurant was so pretty, it was colourful and light with features such as a swinging bench and plants both physical and painted on the wall. It felt like a really relaxed and playful setting which I loved.  The Food - 4/5 There were so many options on the menu and all of them looked amazing, eventually I decided on a spicy salami and nduja pizza. It was marked as a "Zizzi Favourite" and I can see why, it was so tasty and filling. I went with a group of 5 and every single meal looked just as good as mine, if not better.  The Service - 5/5  The service here was 5 stars, the girl who served us was friendly and helpful when we asked to taste wine and were likely the most difficult customers when trying to split our bill. She was positive and happy...

YO! Sushi

Student Eats Glasgow - YO! Sushi

YO! Sushi is quite obviously a sushi restaurant however they do sell some food that is not sushi such as ramen or curry.

The Atmosphere - 4/5

In general, there's not a lot to the atmosphere of YO! Sushi especially the one I went to as it's in the food court of a shopping centre. It's set up as a conveyor belt with both high chairs and booths all surrounding an open kitchen in the centre.

The Food - 4/5

I love YO! Sushi and the quality was of the same level as always this time however the menu was missing a few items. This time they didn't have the Ramen or Fried Chicken that I usually order so I had to just get a large Katsu Curry and YO! fries. Aside from the limited menu, the food I did get was really good and the YO! fries were my favourite as always. I'm not a fan of sushi but I would highly recommend it anyway.

The Service - 3/5

The service at YO! is a hard one to comment on as everything comes to you on a conveyor belt and no person to person service is involved further than being seated at your table. Although, this is a really efficient restaurant, you order through a QR code and within minutes the food is coming round on a plate freshly made.

The Price - 4/5

The initial pricing of YO! is very reasonable, I can't speak to the price of sushi in comparison to other places as it's not something I eat but £10.15 for a large Katsu Curry is a price I'm more than happy to pay. The fries were £3.70 but I would genuinely pay about £15 for them they're that good.

The Deals and Discounts - 4/5

This deal was a UniDays 20% off your entire bill which I found really good especially since the initial price is pretty low.

Here’s  video I found on the interior and process of YO! Sushi that may give better insight.

Overall Average Rating - 3.8/5
